Creative Cures

Woodland Wellness

Creativity is contagious. Pass it on.  Albert Einstein

Creativity should suffuse our everyday lives. It shouldn’t be something we keep locked away until we bring out a sketch book on holiday, or decide on a new colour scheme for the house. Creativity helps us to solve problems in all spheres including relationships and in the workplace.

I am a great fan of keeping a creative journal. Keeping them helps to keep me on my toes; the exercise pushes me to challenge myself and shakes up my ideas. A creative journal can help to smooth out jumbled thoughts, and can help us to reflect and make decisions both at home and at work. It can enrich every area of your life, and help to connect ideas as the synapses fire! Adding pictures, paintings, found objects and collages can help you to express your ideas, and develop new ones.
